Methodology
How we score reward apps
Every app in our index is scored on a 0–10 trust scale that blends four signals.
- 1Public reviews (40%)Trustpilot, Google Play, App Store aggregated. Weighted by review count so that a 4.8 across 50K reviews beats a 5.0 across 100.
- 2Payout reliability (30%)Community reports from r/beermoney, forum threads, and complaint volume. Delayed or denied payouts drag the score hard.
- 3Transparency (20%)Public ownership, documented minimum payouts, published terms of service, responsive support.
- 4Red-flag count (10%)We subtract for scam patterns — unrealistic claims, MLM-style referrals, opaque point values, excessive data collection.
